General

Where are you based?

I am based in New York City and regularly photograph theater, events, portraits, and editorial assignments across the five boroughs.

How far in advance should I book?

For theater and event work, two to four weeks is ideal. If your date is sooner, still reach out. I keep some short-notice availability open when production schedules move.

How quickly do images deliver?

A small press or social selection can usually deliver within 48 hours. Full edited galleries typically deliver within one week, depending on scope.

What usage is included?

Standard delivery includes web, social, press, and internal promotional use. Paid advertising, resale, syndication, or third-party licensing should be scoped before the shoot.

How do I start a booking?

Send the project type, date, venue or location, estimated schedule, and budget if you have one. If anything is still in flux, send the known pieces and we can shape the brief together.

Theater

Do you shoot during a live performance?

Yes, when the production allows it. I work silently in available stage light and avoid flash, blocking, or audience distraction.

What is the best call for production stills?

A held tech, final dress, or dedicated press call usually gives the cleanest result. I can also cover a live run when that is the only workable option.

Can you deliver press images fast?

Yes. For shows with a press deadline, we can plan a fast first pull within 24 to 48 hours, then deliver the full curated gallery after.

Do you photograph college and conservatory productions?

Yes. I have worked with New York college, conservatory, and downtown theater productions, including staged work, rehearsal coverage, and portfolio frames for actors.

Events

What kinds of events do you photograph?

Galas, fundraisers, opening nights, launches, panels, awards, brand activations, private events, and cultural programs.

Can you cover VIPs and donor lists?

Yes. Share a hit list, schedule windows, and priority groupings before the event. I will work the room around that brief.

Do you work with a second shooter?

Yes when the room count, guest count, or run-of-show calls for it. Larger events are scoped as a small team so the final edit still feels consistent.

When do event images deliver?

A press or social pull can usually deliver within 48 hours. The full curated gallery usually follows within one week.

Portraits

Do you shoot in studio or on location?

Both. I can work in a Manhattan studio or bring a compact setup to your office, rehearsal room, venue, or home.

How long does a portrait session take?

Most individual sessions run 60 to 90 minutes. Team headshots are usually scoped as a half-day or full-day depending on headcount.

Is retouching included?

Clean, natural retouching is included on final selects. The goal is polished and real, not over-smoothed.

Can you match an existing brand look?

Yes. Send the reference, brand guide, or prior headshots before the shoot, and I will shape lighting, framing, and crop around that direction.
